Dansville is proud of its rich heritage in health and wellness.  Dansville gained national prominence in 1858 when a water cure enterprise was first established by the Jackson family of physicians.  This water cure enterprise rivaled the health resorts of Europe and attracted luminaries like Frederick Douglas and Susan B. Anthony.  Clara Barton established the first Chapter of the American Red Cross in Dansville in 1881.  In 1921, Bernarr McFadden was one of the early proponents for diet and physical fitness, attracting celebrities and the rich and famous to his “Castle on the Hill.”

Today, Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital, and its affiliated organizations and medical staff, carries on that rich tradition by providing excellence in health care.  Noyes Hospital offers high-quality, comprehensive health care services, state-of-the-art imaging systems, 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, intensive care unit, a dedicated telemetry unit, sleep disorders lab, laboratory services, cardiology services, ophthalmology, orthopedics, physical and occupational therapy, and maternity services.

The Noyes Hospital staff and physicians are driven by a vision, mission, and core values that focus on delivering top quality health care.  At Noyes Hospital, their strength is caring, their focus is you.

Dansville area safety and emergency services personnel work collaboratively with Noyes hospital staff to provide responsive care.
