Dansville Central School encourages strong family
and community involvement…

Dansville is proud of the excellent educational focus of the school community—Pre K-12—operating within five separate buildings.  The District has recently completed a two-phase, $53 million capital program in state-of-the-art learning spaces for students where academic enrichment and acceleration opportunities exist at all levels.  Dansville Central School encourages strong family and community involvement in the educational process provided through a close partnership with social, business, and economic organizations.  Citizenship is encouraged through character education programs and volunteer opportunities.

Genesee Community College offers students over 50 degree programs that transfer seamlessly to all SUNY and most private universities.  High technology, low tuition, and a local focus make Genesee Community College at Dansville a real asset to the local economy.

At the County level, students can gain excellent technical and agricultural vocational training through the Livingston, Steuben and Wyoming BOCES.

Higher education is also readily available at SUNY Geneseo, Alfred University, Alfred State College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Rochester within short driving distance of Dansville.
